Our Head Office and main warehouse based in Scunthorpe carries in excess of 16,000 lines. The trade counter is open from 7:30am to 5:00pm weekdays and 8:00am to 12:00 noon Saturday.

Our branch in Immingham again carries comprehensive stocks of the above and serves North East Lincolnshire including Grimsby and the surrounding areas. Their trade counter is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm weekdays & 8:00am to 12:00 noon Saturday.

Our depot on Warren Road Scunthorpe stocks a comprehensive range of Fencing, Decking and Calor Gas.

As part of the company’s expansion, 1996 saw the acquisition of the Hull based company, Industrial Supplies (Hull) Ltd. Since this acquisition their premises in Barmston Street have undergone many changes and recently a warehouse extension was added to enable their stockholding to be increased.. Their range of products has been augmented with many Humber Merchants stock lines and the business is fully linked to the Scunthorpe computer system. They offer a full service to industry north of the River Humber. Their trade counter is open from 7:30am to 5:00pm weekdays and 8:00am to 12:00 noon Saturday.

Our branch at Kirk Sandall in Doncaster opened in 2003 and has proved to be a success in South Yorkshire. This depot carries a reduced range of stock and specializes in Architectural Ironmongery, Hand and Power Tools, Workwear, Consumables, and Engineering supplies. A power tool repair workshop was added to these premises in 2006 following the acquisition of D.C. Hobbs, formerly based on Balby Road in Doncaster. Their trade counter is open from 7:30am to 4:30pm weekdays and 8:00am to 12:00 noon Saturday.

Whilst Humber Merchants is not a specialised Timber Merchant, our associate company, G. Empson & Sons of Gunness near Scunthorpe, most definitely is. We are able therefore to source the majority of your timber requirements including Rough Sawn and PSE Timber, Tanalised Timber, Hardwoods, plus Doors, Windows, Skirting & Mouldings. G. Empson & Sons are also manufacturing joiners and would be pleased to quote for example, Staircases and Specials of most types.
